Before I go into this, idk if this was already brought up somewhere like maybe q&a or someone else already had this theory I just came up with this randomly one day and the more I thought about it the more it made sense so I’m sorry if I’m accidentally stealing someone’s idea or my theory is just already well known via eve herself telling people.
My theory explains two things: one is why the song “Total eclipse of the heart” was used during the Monument monster aura edit or whatever the hell im even supposed to call it and two, how Pattinson went insane.
It’s already like common ball knowledge that The Monument monster drove President Pattinson insane in season 5 leading to the point of him being able to be manipulated into blowing up the world releasing a crap ton of energy which makes Alcatraz super powerful blah blah blah anyways two questions I’ve always had is why total eclipse of the heart was used in the first place and how he was even drove to insanity. But I believe that these two questions actually answer each other. You see, in the song Total Eclipse of the Heart it’s about a person really missing their partner. Now I’m PRETTY SURE Pattinson and the monument monster weren’t dating so obviously it’s not that, but I still believe some parts of the song are true to the story here.
My theory: instead of the monument monster doin using his Alcatraz powers or whatever idk to make Pattinson insane my theory is that he actually HELPED him. He helped him pass multiple laws and bills that were net positives for humanity which led to him getting elected in the first place as well as getting the public to have a higher standard of presidential positions. This led to Pattinson needing much more help from the monster to the point of his entire job being done by the monster. At one point, the monster pulled the rug and left Pattinson alone. This led to the point of the video where Pattinson is screaming or whatever going insane oooo insanity blah blah blah until the monster comes back at Pattinson absolute lowest and tells him to launch operation seed. Since Pattinson at this point is desperate from the constant hate from the public and the inability to do anything since he basically forgot how to do anything since he was just getting constant help from the monster so he does it, believing this act will be a net positive and will help save his tanking presidency. This inevitably leads to well yeah Alcatraz getting super powerful and the monster and the demon leaving earth and allat.
My evidence: in the song total eclipse of the heart it says a lot about person A: Really needing Person B tonight, even more than ever before. To the point of them saying “We’ll be holding on forever” showing their obsession or whatever. After this, they say that “We’ll only be making it right” (passing bills and laws that will help society)
Continuation: We know Pattinson tweeted after part of the lyrics to the song, my theory states that he did this because the monster wouldnt let him warn the world of the nuclear crisis before or after launching them, so he sent out one last cry to the world telling them his tale in the form of a song that was similar to his experience (obsession, needing the monster to help him, thinking the monster was good) and telling them that “forever is going to start tonight.” Telling them that something infinite and eternal which I believe means death would start tonight, AKA the day he launched operation seed.
And my theory is NOT done.
I also came up with an idea why Pattinson himself even won the election in the first place, since, sue me, but (Monument mythos specifically don’t get political in the comments) trump seemed like he would have made a pretty eh president, like mid at best. And in my experience of like existing I’d say I’d rather have a president who does nothing than something, since most of the time Those actions have some negative impact. And Pattinson had had zero past political experience so what would he know about being a president? But then I realized this theory goes even FURTHER.
My theory is that trump was Alcatraz’ed on PURPOSE (shocker I know) to tank his campaign just enough for Pattinson to swoop in, making him look like some sort of monster compared to the attractive actor. Then the monster helped Pattinson with his campaign (possibly I’m not too sure about this one) and led to Pattinson win. And I KNOW why trump was purposefully alcatrazed. One confusing part of season five is how trump is made out to be this entirely different person and personality and how it’s explicitly stated but I believe I know the truth, trump couldn’t have been elected president because he wouldn’t have been weak enough for the monster or the demon to take control of his mentality and lead to the launch of operation seed. In the book he wrote, he says he knows to never use nuclear weaponry, unless it’s just for threatening. Since he knows the more he uses it, the less powerful it becomes and the destruction it could cause. For that reason the monster must have switched out the tapes or manipulated that person to gave trump the diagram so his election would be tanked do Pattinson would win. Trump clearly must have realized this after what happened and tried to cover up the blood but it didn’t work.
Anyways I’m extremely tired so I don’t expect this theory to be super comprehensible so uh please ask me any questions you have in the comments and I will do my best to answer them.
P.S. I haven’t actually watched season 5 in like a month prolly so I’m sorry if there’s some like 5 seconds saying “actually this guys threory is extremely wrong I’m from the future and I just wanted to slander him for no reason” or smth stupid like that soooo sorry if that’s true.
In season 4 of monument mythos, there is a large part near the end that shows them blowing up the Statue of Liberty. This (I assume) was the execution of the horned serpent, and several people possibly against the operation as either sacrifice or collateral damage.
During this time, the narrator states that the president, who was in the hospital at the time, had no idea what was going on (may be a lie) yada yada whatever. The main point I’m trying to get to is that the president is referred to with female pronouns. Though the episode is titled “CLIFTCHAOS”, I believe this is meant to mean the execution of the horned serpent was a plan started by Clift and finished by the time This female president was in office.
Now, here’s where the whole Clinton thing comes in. In the Official Monument Mythos Spotify playlist, one song that is unreleased for some reason is titled “Clintons_Detonation”. Now, there is a released song titled “Clintons_Decision” which is the same song used it Suez Canal crab. I believe this is meant to be some sort of hint to the fact that these two situations happened during the same time Clinton was president.
If this is true, it would actually give us a pretty accurate timeline for season 3, since we’d know now that CLIFTCHAOS takes place during 2020. We’d know this since the president in the hospital is described as incumbent, which means someone planning to run for office while currently in office. And since Clinton would have been elected in 2016, this means she would be incumbent some point near her presidency ending, which would be in 2020.
Possible reasons this could be wrong: the song itself is placed in season 3, or Nixonverse. Not season 4. Aswell as the fact that the whole President being female thing could have just been the creator fucking with people since the episode is called Clift chaos so idk maybe. Also the episode says that Oppenheimer was there to make a theory, but the thing is is that he died in 1967. So unless he’s immortal I don’t think that’s right. Also Hillary Clinton ran in 2008 aswell, so who’s saying that’s not the date she was elected instead of 2016.
Evidence: 1. in Monument Mythos Season 3 (or the Nixonverse), When the last son was turned into the lunarian king, Nixon addressed him as such. BUT, After the Last Son transforms into the horned serpent, Nixon titled him “The Crescent King.” 2. The two share the ability to mess with the minds of people and manifest through people. AKA: George Washington becoming the horned serpent and that one guy who’s name I forget becoming the crescent king (also my past theory about Elon musk if that’s true). 3. They both look pretty similar, I know this isn’t really a strong piece of evidence but it’s evidence nonetheless.
The implications of this being true: It would clear up a lot of details and would make sense since we see the horned serpent being called many names such as the liberty lurker, founding father, and George Washington, so it’s clear there isn’t a real actual term it’s meant to be called at least that people haven’t found out yet, so the Crescent King would make more sense since I believe? It refers to itself as that in the house in the ocean.
My theory is the the episode MONUMENTMYTHOLOGY is actually extremely true and instead of each serpent dying they’ve just been asleep waiting for a living creature to merge with. They only become active after merging with someone or something, such as the reason for the uprise in special trees after George Washington became the horned serpent. My theory also fixes the problem with wonderland existing before George Washington became the horned serpent by it being that he just merged with the earth serpent that was asleep and much less active (though special trees still existed just much less)
Anyway, to my main part, my theory is that the reason the Martian serpent woke up at that specific time wasn’t specifically because of the nuke, it was because the nuke led to the explosion led to the destruction of those ice caps which possibly held multiple special trees which led to a mass storm of wonderland opening up which caused Elon to get sucked in who tried escaping like George Washington did causing him to merge just like Washington. This also explains how the Martian serpent was so much more aggressive than the earth serpent and IMMEDIATELY started trying to destroy the world instead of sitting dormant like the earth serpent because in this universe Elon kinda sucked (yk cuz he enslaved crowns) so his sucky soul made the newly formed horned serpent much worse and aggressive.
