(Theory) In season 4 (or season 3 I just like to count Nixonverse as a season) The death of the horned serpent happens at a time when Hillary Clinton was president. (Spoilers)
In season 4 of monument mythos, there is a large part near the end that shows them blowing up the Statue of Liberty. This (I assume) was the execution of the horned serpent, and several people possibly against the operation as either sacrifice or collateral damage.
During this time, the narrator states that the president, who was in the hospital at the time, had no idea what was going on (may be a lie) yada yada whatever. The main point I’m trying to get to is that the president is referred to with female pronouns. Though the episode is titled “CLIFTCHAOS”, I believe this is meant to mean the execution of the horned serpent was a plan started by Clift and finished by the time This female president was in office.
Now, here’s where the whole Clinton thing comes in. In the Official Monument Mythos Spotify playlist, one song that is unreleased for some reason is titled “Clintons_Detonation”. Now, there is a released song titled “Clintons_Decision” which is the same song used it Suez Canal crab. I believe this is meant to be some sort of hint to the fact that these two situations happened during the same time Clinton was president.
If this is true, it would actually give us a pretty accurate timeline for season 3, since we’d know now that CLIFTCHAOS takes place during 2020. We’d know this since the president in the hospital is described as incumbent, which means someone planning to run for office while currently in office. And since Clinton would have been elected in 2016, this means she would be incumbent some point near her presidency ending, which would be in 2020.
Possible reasons this could be wrong: the song itself is placed in season 3, or Nixonverse. Not season 4. Aswell as the fact that the whole President being female thing could have just been the creator fucking with people since the episode is called Clift chaos so idk maybe. Also the episode says that Oppenheimer was there to make a theory, but the thing is is that he died in 1967. So unless he’s immortal I don’t think that’s right. Also Hillary Clinton ran in 2008 aswell, so who’s saying that’s not the date she was elected instead of 2016.
