My PlayStation account was permanently suspended after it had unauthorized access. Customer support is lacking.

I’m honestly at a loss and don’t really know where else to ask for advice.

My PlayStation 5 was stolen by someone close to me while I was away at work. During that time they accessed my account, made purchases, and apparently did something that resulted in my PSN account being permanently suspended for violating TOS.

I eventually got the console back, changed my information, and contacted PlayStation support hoping they could help investigate what happened. Instead, I was mostly just told to submit an appeal.

The part that hurts the most is that I’ve had this account for over a decade. I’ve spent years building my library, buying games, DLC, and in-game purchases, and now it feels like all of that is just gone because of something I didn’t do myself.

I understand companies have rules, but it’s frustrating feeling like there’s no real person willing to look deeper into the situation. I’m trying to figure out what my options even are at this point.

Has anyone here successfully recovered a permanently suspended account after unauthorized access or account compromise? Did providing evidence help at all? I’d really appreciate any advice or direction because this whole situation has been upsetting and exhausting.
