One year older prof, should I pursue?
Hi, I’d like to hear your thoughts.
I’m currently in postgrad and I have a professor in one of my minor subjects who is only one year older than me, so halos magka-age lang kami. Honestly, it doesn’t even feel like he’s my professor because of the small age gap and how casually we talk.
At first, hindi ko talaga siya type physically, typical nerdy chinito na medyo chubby. But as the class went on, I started admiring the way he teaches and how articulate he is. Parang na-develop yung attraction because of his intelligence and personality.
Some staff even tease me about him which is weird, though joke lang naman. Parang they think we’ll get along. During group work, he often sits beside me and we make small talk.
I also checked his social media once. He’s into photography and luxury watches, and he follows a lot of Japanese actresses and influencers, including Lauren Tsai. He came from an all boys school in San Juan. Wala rin akong nakitang signs that he’s in a relationship. His last post was in 2023 pa. I also feel like he’s NGSB 😆
I’m wondering if I can infer anything from his followings, or if I’m just overthinking hahahaha. He seems like the nerdy and medyo oblivious type, so I’m curious if he’d even notice if I were subtly flirting.
Would it be weird or inappropriate to give him hints while he’s still my professor?
