Hello all,

I have recently saved a Hotsy 1075BE (Diesel heated in a cage on wheels) and so far I have invested about $700 into getting it cleaned up and running. From what I and the Hotsy service techs I took it to said it seems in brand new condition. The read out in its Diesel heater says 45 run time hours.

I am working as a full time seasonal employee but come mid-Nov or mid-Dec I will be let go. I work and live in Northern Colorado (Fort Collins/Loveland).

I am not sure what to do with this asset and I am considering letting the Hotsy dealer consignment it for me.

I would appreciate insight and perspectives from those in this field.

I recently purchased a Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 AMD (16″) with RTX 5070 Ti that I intend to use for College, Gaming, and Work (eventually).

College and Work is gonna be UAS (drone) oriented. For gaming I usually play mostly single player games and some online co-ops. Doom (2016), Doom Eternal, Helldivers 2, WH40K Space Marine 2

I've been working on removing most of the bloatware and removing the startup load that would eat up memory and slow it down.

Legion Space, Steam, Lenovo Service app, VS Code, and Chrome are my most used apps.

I'm looking for tips, tricks, or other perspectives that others have experienced with setting up theirs that I should consider with mine.
