HR posted photos of someone's shit in the company group chat to “educate” us about workplace hygiene
Like the title indicates, one of the HR staff posted several photos in our company group chat, apparently to warn or educate employees about keeping the workplace, including the restroom, clean and tidy.
However, based on the photos, it was pretty obvious that whoever did it might have had some kind of health issue and probably couldn't control it. I think it's really nasty and inappropriate to post those photos in a company-wide group chat, so I ended up starting a war with HR in the group chat and asking them to apologize.
What do you guys think? Was I overreacting, or was HR out of line for posting those photos?
