Training program

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for advice on how to structure a chess training program using the books I already own. I have three books:
An openings book
Silman’s Complete Endgame guide
How to Reassess Your Chess 4th edition.
I’m not sure how to balance my study time between these resources or in what order I should tackle them. Should I go through the endgame course and How to Reassess Your Chess simultaneously, or focus on one at a time? And how should I fit in openings study alongside them?
If it helps, I’d also love suggestions on whether I should be doing tactics puzzles daily, and how much time I should dedicate to actual game analysis vs. book study.
I’m 1550 OTB and I want to improve and reach 1700.
Thanks in advance.

I’ve done two tournaments so far OTB and I really want to improve.
Thanks in advance.

I almost cried

Today was my first OTB match in a long time and I lost against a 1549 rated player. I lost because I hung my queen, and I almost cried. I had reached the end of the middlegame and he was in a much worse position but then that happened. I still have 3 matches left, but I’m devastated.
Any tips?

I was once 1500 on chess.com I do not have a rating OTB , but in this tournament I would play my fifth game, so I should get my rating. However, things have changed, my last tournament was in December 2025, and since then I haven’t played much and I have gotten worse.
Since then, I’ve bought three books: Silman’s Complete Endgame Course, Silman’s How to Reassess Your Chess (4th edition), and an openings book. I still have The Woodpecker Method because I know that tactics are the most important thing. How should I study,?
