Have a coworker that refers to me as Buddy even in formal emails. “Hey Buddy”. “Good afternoon Buddy”.

I find the tone condescending as he is older and it’s his way of asserting seniority even though we are paid the same except I’m better at the job (I close more among other things). I’ve seen him address a few others by name so I know he’s off-brand here.

At the same time don’t want to be “That guy” and call him out but would like him to remember boundaries
