Getting my foot in the door.
Hello new here, and been wanting to find a good way to get into a financial sector job as i would like to get away from the more labor intense jobs i find myself in. Good with number and find finance facinating, read stuff related to it in my personal time often.
So my question being, is finding a shop that offers remote work for a first time MCA broker a realistic spot to start? It seems in PA I wouldn't need a license to do this work, and I've been in a bit of a rabit hole for days looking into the industry, learning terms, practices, even going through the types of paperwork i would be dealing with and understanding how file types are identified for types of lenders etc. But the more i look around the more it seems a majority of these openings are only for ISO's to partner with lenders and not for brokers to work under shops, or they looking for people with years experience. Is this something i can realisticly push into with enough persistence or am i out of my scope and more likely no one will be interested in giving me a shot as my resume only has some management work as my closest job prospects to the field. This is seems to be one of the few that would work for me though as i need to keep my current employment for stabability while I would be trying out this new field and a lot of roles in the space would require some type of certification or degree. Asking as I'm feeling frustrated and stuck in labor, and maybe anyone could have a direction to point me in or offer clarity. Thank you, and sorry if anything in here seems uninformed as I don't have anyone I can talk to that knows anything about any of this stuff. I have family and friends that barely know the basics in the financial space and am really trying to find my own way.
