[Bakersfield, CA] Forming an Indie Band (Ages 14-16)
I'm looking to start a new band based in Bakersfield and am looking for musicians to complete the lineup.
The goal is to blend the indie/bedroom rock of bands like Lowertown and Growing Pains with the heaviness of bands like Nirvana and Deftones.
Who I'm Looking For:
Looking for girls aged 14–16 for the following spots:
Bassist
Drummer (Looking for someone who can hold play steady and kind of soft, but can also hit hard)
Secondary Singer / Co-Vocalist (For more of the softer singing)
Experience level doesn't need to be professional—as long as you can play your instrument and are dedicated to jamming, writing original music, and eventually playing local shows, you'll fit right in. I have a lot of local connections, so getting gigs would be easy.
