Extremely sharp and tingly pain around mid-face 1 week post op
So its been a week post-op for DJS for my open bite, and i noticed yesterday that I felt a lot of strong tingles, crawling, zappy sort of pain in the sweeling from my upper jaw and a little from my chin, but it was spontaneous and I didnt think much of it. Today i’ve been trying to sleep for thr last 3 hours but all of a sudden whenever i lay down i get a huge rush of that pain and its hurting me getting sleep. I dont think its an infection because i dont have any congestion, fever, etc. just this pain and its very “mobile” and unpredictable as opposed to something like issues with the jaw. Im just wondering what it is then? I have my 1 week post op the next day so I will for sure ask my surgeon but I literally might have to stay up until then because i physically cant sleep
