Should I pursue this guy?
I met this guy last December and we had three nice dates for the first three weeks. However, on our fourth date he mentioned he accepted a job offer in another city (he’s a final year PhD student). I was shocked and just turned quiet for the rest of our date because I was disappointed and didn’t know how to react. He didn’t address this issue further either.
After the fourth date he obviously got cold and skipped our fifth date, saying he was busy with his papers. We didn’t talk for two weeks but then he asked me out again. We had a great time. He messaged me a couple of times afterwards. I did reply but was not as responding as before because I wanted to get over him. We haven’t talked ever since February.
But the thing is, I can’t get over him and haven’t spent a day without thinking about him for the past few months. When we were seeing each other it was always him initiating dates or conversations. Maybe this made him think that I was not that interested in this? I want to reconnect but don’t know what to do now.
