I’m 26 and had an abnormal pap about 1 year ago that indicated LSIL. My doctor recommended a colp, took 2 biopsies, and both came back totally normal with no dysplasia or HPV. I just had another pap last week and got the results back that it was abnormal again with LSIL and now “a more advanced lesion may be present.” I’m a little freaked out about that language, especially after thinking that my normal colp meant I was in the clear. Would appreciate any insight from anyone that has experienced this to calm my nerves until my doctor can get back to me (because unfortunately the results posted at 6pm). TYIA!
