PSA: Grey Company Scam
There's a new scam circulating lately. They will contact you through Viber or any other social platforms.
Please always perform background checks on those companies that offer such services, and sketchy benefits and wage rates. Always ask where they are established. Check that the government registrar of the company is recognised in the Philippines. Always ask for the company website, contact information, and company information such as where it's based, who the CEO is, and the basic stuff to know if the company is legitimate or not.
Nowadays, certain scammers and illegal companies are somewhat trafficking or exploiting people for their own personal gain.
Included in this post are photos to prove that they are a flagged scam because their website is already blocked for scam (I'm using a strong home and office firewall to block such scammy sites). I am unable to access it on my devices as this is already blocked at the network/router level. I did share their website registration which is PUBLICLY AVAILABLE AND USED TO DO BACKGROUND CHECKS AND VALIDITY OF THE WEBSITE. This is for the purpose to spread awareness about it. (I have shared other websites that they have and flagged as a scam by most cybersecurity experts)
I am here to spread awareness to everyone about the spread of scams among innocent people.
I, even most people who have good intentions, don't want to see people being exploited for their personal gain. To the point that their livelihood is at risk, their identity, and worse got caught in the crossfire where innocent people got arrested or face criminal charges because scammers exploited them.
Certain individuals are identifying themselves who worked for Grey Company.
I did some in-depth research and confirmed that this is a scam.
I did call the building number from Google Maps and they confirmed that there's no such thing as Grey Company in the building.
So please be careful.
