I found out that I am pregnant three days ago! Which I am feeling ALL the feelings. But the biggest? My two sons, 17/20. I was so young when I had them (19/22), I was in survival mode. I was a present mom, but I know they missed out on a lot. And they had a stressed mom. They also dealt with the stress of a single mom, and splitting households.
And now? I am married, financially stable and just grown up.
So while this baby is amazing, I can’t help but hurt that my boys didn’t get the grown version of me. And fear resentment from them.
