One of my hens have been making this sound for the past 2 weeks, have had her for 4 months. I originally thought she might have food wedged in her throat but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Any experienced chicken owners have an idea of what is causing the problem?

Chickens have access to a field to the side of them but they like dust bathing in their run.
