Two questions about "Fargo", both kind of about Shep

  1. How did Shep find Carl to beat him up? Some Googling tells me Carl was staying at Shep's apartment, which i find super-interesting, but how is that established?
  2. What exactly does it mean that Shep "vouched" for Grimsrud? If Grimsrud turned out to be unreliable, what would Jerry do, go up to Shep and say "hey Shep, you vouched for this guy and he sucked, so..." what? So Shep feels bad that he let Jerry down? Or, maybe he will lose out on potential referrals for future crimes?

Bright Spot about getting a little older

I don't have dementia and i'm not making light of that but I'm about a generation older than JorDan, and I simply forget more stuff than I used to.

The bright spot is... the huge backlog of past Knowledge Fight episodes make it pretty much like the show is still going on.

Same with movies. I just rewatched L.A. Confidential, which i am certain i saw when it came out, but it was like a totally new movie to me. Which is a great thing with movies like that.
