MyWhoosh power meter not connected
Hi, I do appreciate the owner for all his/her time in creating the app; it seems useful but I'm having trouble with my setup.
-Android running latest release. Runs both MyWhoosh and BikeControl (installed from Google Play today)
-Van Rysel D100 smart trainer with Zwift Click V2
I tried a variety of methods and switching up the order of steps, but basically I wasn't able to get control of MyWhoosh shifting or even send any power input to MW despite being connected to BikeControl at the same time (as proven by seeing the gear changes on the BC overlay).
Basically I understand the instructions (using the most recent "connect over network option") up to successfully adding the trainer from the MyWhoosh devices page. It shows up when I click the top-right "OpenBikeControl" icon, but once I hit yes, nothing changes. It still shows nothing connected to the Power or Speed sensors. When I go to connect the trainer as a Power sensor, it does not show up. Is this intended? Are you meant to skip forward and start a ride in MyWhoosh without any device connected? When I do so, MW never receives any power input and my character does not move.
Do i have to connect everything to MW first, then disconnect the controllers and then connect them to BC? I did try that but they were not able to be found on BC.
Also, may you please confirm if Virtual Shifting should be enabled on MW or not? Some instructions say yes, and others say no. Is the virtual shifting meant to actually control the built-in shifting in MW? Or is it a second layer of shifting which increases the resistance outside of MW, and MW simply receives a higher torque value from the trainer?
