Three Avid Roleplayers Looking For Group [Online] [5e 2014] [Other] [Flexible] [PST] [LGBTQ+]

They say beggars can't be choosers, but I'm going to shoot my shot!
My name is Mist. I'm a man in my early thirties and am here to represent a group of three individuals who have been roleplaying together for over ten years. We all operate in PST and are looking for a game that meets around 7:00 PM.
Over the years, we've often swapped the role of DM among ourselves but have never had the opportunity to all be players together for any meaningful length of time. We're hoping to find a DM who is looking for story-driven, detail-oriented roleplayers who enjoy transformative, emotional journeys.
We're looking for someone who enjoys deep NPC interactions, emotional storytelling, meaningful stakes, and who has crafted a world they're invested in and proud of. We want a DM who is excited to introduce us to their three dimensional NPC's, and who enjoys weaving meaning and themes throughout the narrative. We love exploring stories where our DM is just as excited to share their world as we are to discover it.
We've played in large groups (up to six players) and small groups (as few as three). While we've primarily played D&D 5e (2014), we're open to almost any system as long as it supports a compelling narrative.
Two of us are artists, and one is a published fantasy novelist. All of us have been roleplaying in some capacity since childhood. We create three-dimensional characters who grow and change dramatically over the course of their journeys. If you take us on, you can expect players who eagerly engage with your NPCs and world, dive into your setting's history, and invest themselves in the motivations and emotions of its people.
We also enjoy combat and exploration, especially when both success and failure have meaningful consequences. Our characters celebrate their victories, mourn their losses, and carry the emotional weight of both. We enjoy playing characters who are both proactive in pursuing their goals and reactive to the events unfolding around them.
As we're all queer, we're also looking for a DM who is welcoming and LGBTQ+ friendly.
