question(s) on planking with scoliosis

hi everyone! have been researching a bit on core exercises as someone with scoliosis (combined / double curve, ~40 degrees). i've attended some physiotherapy sessions when i was younger, but had to stop due to personal reasons.

recently, i've been trying to get fitter and reduce the outward appearance of my scoliosis since i've been getting a little self-conscious about it. i've started doing planks / side-planks (on the concave side), pelvic tilts and bird-dog, but planks have been giving me some discomfort? mainly, i feel as if the spinal curve is getting pushed outwards and i'm afraid it might be worsening the curve - is this a thing i should be concerned about?

as a side note, i recall my physiotherapist saying that when i plank, i should adjust my posture as if i have no scoliosis - i.e. engaging the muscles around the curve and sort of "pushing" it back into place - if that makes sense? i struggle with this a lot and don't think i'm doing this right - has anyone heard of something similar / have tips on how to do this properly? i would be so so grateful 🙏🙏🙏

and as a second side note (lol): any other simple deep core exercises help to reduce the appearance? i saw that this has been answered a few times here but trying my luck to see if there's other exercises suitable for me 😅 thank you guys 😄
