I apologize in advance if this is the wrong sub. I know nothing about metalworking or welding.

These two old iron tables have sentimental value - they’re made from vent covers from an old factory. They were previously nicely welded and painted black, but are looking really rough now. Some of the detailed areas are rusting out and some of the welds have come apart.

What actually needs to be done here to remove the rust, fix the welding, and repaint? What type of person do I call and can they even remove the rust?
