I am hoping someone can answer this. I have looked online but the answer is unclear.

Are the gate positions set now? I see a list of the horses and their gates. If there are additional scratches and not enough alternates is there any chance the gates shift?

I am asking because we did a wok pool and drew gates. I would like to share a list of the horses with their gate numbers, but before I do that I want to make sure it won’t change. I do realize there may be last minute scratches.
Sorry if I am using the wrong words. First time doing this and while everyone is excited to participate I don’t want to mix anyone up by sharing this if the gates might change.
