Am I Cooked

I have had this HAP40 blade for a year. I Baby the this knife. Always cleaned after a use, always in a sheath bone dry. Some light patina was starting to form from use in the exposed core.

Last night this knife was used to cut a mango and lemon and got left out under some pots and pans, am noticing some light scratches.
I don’t feel my finger nail catching. I wiped it down with baking soda, didn’t really remove anything.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, I really love this knife.

I have always liked whiskey but have been exploring different distilleries and bottles since I have been living in TX for flight training where whiskey is much cheaper and more readily available than where I’m from (Seattle). I found a store with constantly stocked Blantons and EH Taylor along with other Buffalo Trace products.

Let me know some of your favorites, I have really been enjoying the Knob SB. Don’t love the Old Forester 1920.

I got pitched on this Rare Character bottle 21 yr Hazmat, 99% corn mash, excited to try it for a special occasion.

Next purchase will be a Woodford double oak for desert.
