To offset most of the negative posts in here, I figured to post something good because I too was struggling to find the light at the end of the tunnel upon my AD journey. It’s been just over 6 weeks and I’d say I’m happy with how this medication has worked. The first 4 weeks were rough… I’ve never experienced depression/anxiety like that before. This was due to the fact that I took a steroid for a separate injury that caused those side effects which intensified the depression/anxiety on top of the “it gets worse before it gets better” feeling…
I won’t keep this too long, but if you’re struggling when just starting out, it DOES get better! What helped get me thru that 5 weeks was our good friend Mary Jane. I didn’t use it for the first 3 weeks, which I regret because my doctor said not to. Keep in mind, I only did small doses because overdoing it with anything is never good especially for the anxious fellows out there… lol. Anyways, I feel great now, more energy, not sleeping as much, more present, etc. Just take it slow at first if you decide to medicate with THC/CBD. I recommend it if you know how to control yourself. Doctors always want you to stay stone cold sober but imo weed has always helped me in general, so I decided to give it a shot when I had some tough initial days.
