Sleeps like an actual person. If only he could get a job like a person.

Our two basenjis sleep in our bed with us, but it’s more their bed than ours 😂 last night, I slept in that little gap you see between the two basenjis. This was taken just after I wriggled out from between them.

We run 2-3 miles every other day. Jury’s out on how much she likes running, but she seems to like being near the water. She chases pigeons 🤦🏽‍♀️ but she seems to ignore other dogs when she’s in her groove. Note: this was before the wildfires; on hiatus until the air clears up :(

We did the Yosemite Valley Loop Trail on Saturday and it was a perfect, sunny day. The map that we downloaded to our watches was 16 miles, but we still had to detour to see some of the points along the way. We even caught a glimpse of a bear grazing from a distance. Can’t wait to be back at Yosemite!

Poor baby has a small injury, but she now enjoys climbing the steps to the windowsill to enjoy our river view
