Hello everyone, hope everything is good.
I have no prior proper experience with trading, but I really want to get into investing, and possibly day trading depending on how much i have to spare from my investment portfolio.
Is there a proper way to start learning? If you go on youtube and search for courses, there is a shit ton of them, each portraying a different "best way to learn". There is alot of strategies, alot of indicators, alot of learning structure. Some people advise to start with chart patterns, candle patterns, etc. I have no idea where to start, and due to this being a field where you can't just learn without losing money, I am afraid to just commit to a random strategy and see where it takes me, and if it loses switch strategies, i.e trial and error is a hard path to take here.
I wonder if those demo/training platforms or whatever they're called, follow actual market trends and aren't just random? If so, what are some good options for those demo/learning platforms? I believe I would be able to test said strategies on those platforms if they follow proper market trends and aren't purely random or hypothetical.
I appreciate every and all tips and pointers, thank you so very much. I am very eager to get into this field.
