RBI just announced a ₹2.87 lakh crore dividend to the government

RBI just announced a ₹2.87 lakh crore dividend to the government

Every year RBI pays a dividend, but this number is genuinely massive.

Interesting to see how these transfers quietly become one of the strongest support systems for government finances while most people barely notice it outside market circles.

Modi x Meloni meme just unlocked a new investing strategy.

I still can’t understand how people are buying a stock just because of the name “Parle” after the Modi-Meloni Parle-G meme.

Like seriously ?

Another way of saying proving its a news driven market.

Dhan, Stop Nudging Me to Trade.

Yesterday I opened my Dhan account just to check my holdings, and the first thing I see is add money along with a counter tracking how many days it’s been since my last trade.

At some point, brokers need to stop pretending they care about investors and admit they just want users trading constantly. This kind of nudging is exactly what pushes people into unnecessary take trades and make losses.

Suggest me a good broker who doesn't induce me to trade more?

Zerodha CEO calls out stone age process of attracting more capital

India keeps talking about attracting foreign investment, but investing in India as an NRI is still a stone-age process. Most NRIs actually want to invest here, but the process is full of friction NRE/NRO accounts, PIS confusion, KYC issues, tax complications, bank approvals, compliance checks, etc. For many, it becomes so frustrating that they just give up and invest somewhere else instead.

While Modi Ji talks about austerity drives and boosting the economy, one easy low-hanging fruit is simply attracting more NRI capital into India. Global foreign capital may depend on macros, AI themes, and global sentiment, but Indians living abroad already want to invest here. The problem is the system makes it unnecessarily cumbersome. Even Nithin Kamath is basically calling out the process and asking regulators to fix this first.

Indian traders finally found the only position their moms will approve of!

Dhan starting physical delivery of gold & silver feels like the most Indian finance product ever.

Most trading profits are invisible numbers on a screen.
Gold delivery turns it into something tangible, trusted, and culturally accepted instantly.

Now the only thing left is allowing it as collateral for trading margins that would make traders go crazy.

Orders are getting rejected or stuck in limbo for all brokers. All they can do is point fingers at the exchange. Meanwhile we're out here like absolute buffoons throwing our money into a market that can't even process our trades.
