I was browsing the San Martin store, looking through the original designs, when I came up upon this stunner of a dial on the SN0033-G-C.

It got me thinking of a design idea that’s been floating around in my mind so I thought I would share it here using this dial as the centerpiece.

Essentially, you take this dial and apply 369 Arabic breguet style numerals, and then You case it in a BB pro style case. I think this particular handset looks good, although you can definitely play around with hands. Add a GMT hand and movement and you have a fun riff on vintage sector dial tool watches.

Most everyone these days wants to put them in a dress watch, but I think the design is far more versatile than that.
