Happy 4th to my fellow Americans and Compatriots

As a kid I celebrated our nation's Bicentennial in 1976 not far from Washington, DC, brimming with pride and hope for the future. The last 50 years have been a bumpy ride, but here is hoping for a better next 50 years. Happy Birthday, America!

San Martin SN0138

Este reloj es increíble, tiene mejor calidad y acabados que marcas suizas/japonesas como Tissot, Hamilton o Seiko y eso que tengo uno de cada una de ellas.

Por 205€ + aduanas es una de mis mejores compras hasta la fecha.

Question for San Martin- Why so many watches that have a date movement but no date window?

I have been looking for a 38-39mm BB58/Pelagos style diver and it seems like most of the ones you make have either the NH35 or the ST2130 but no date window. I don't know if you know this, but most people do not like "ghost dates."

I actually did buy an SN0121T-GA in White just a couple weeks ago and it has the "ghost date." I actually heard the date wheel click over while I was setting the time on the watch when I first got it. Honestly, I have already listed it for sale on Chrono24, that ghost date just killed the watch for me.

I am begging you San Martin, please no more ghost dates. Just use no date movements or put in the window.

Bracelets

Anybody know the bracelets for the SN0144 and SN0150 are interchangeable even with minor modifications if need be?

SN0017

Ich liebe diese Uhr einfach! Wirklich Wahnsinn, was man qualitativ von einer 250€ Uhr erwarten kann. Chapeau!

Looking for REAL pics of this particular San Martin SN0144-CG7

Google shows nothing. They're all pics from San Martins multiple websites. I'm looking for actual real pics that someone has taken, in different lighting, if possible. If you have this watch, and wouldn't mind sharing pics, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Got these 2 San Martins 62mas but one is a black sunburst and the other is clearly grey sunburst

Tried to capture it best I could. It's even more noticable in real life.

QC issues or seller sent the wrong color? Do they make these in black and grey?

I know there's a green version as well, which I also ordered.

Thanks!

San Martin Watches

Hi everyone, as title, I'm currently looking at some brands, I see Watchdives, San Martin, Specht & Sohne and so on, I wondered what makes the SM watches special as I can see the prices are higher, is it just better quality or am I missing something else?

Many thanks all!

Okay, I get it now…

My first San Martin delivered today. I believe it’s the 0128.

What a beautiful homage. Obviously heavily inspired by the Black Bay monochrome, but the case shape and ceramic bezel looks very Submariner. I think it’s a great combination.

I bought it to replace my beater watch that’s seen better days, but this is so much nicer than I expected. I might be rethinking this.

I’ve always heard good things about San Martin’s finishing, but didn’t quite believe it until now. This is excellent, and for the few downsides it has, they’re heavily outweighed by the under $300 price tag.

I have watches that are 10-20 times as expensive and have similar build and finishing. Obviously the NH35 in this won’t live up to COSC and METAS movements, but it’s solid enough for what it is.

I’ve very happy I gave it a chance.
