Anyone else’s husband do this?

We have a small house so sound carries everywhere. Think big apartment. We have a nice big screen TV and Bose sound system. I don’t turn on the Bose system unless we’re all watching, it’s fucking loud.

Every. Time. My husband plays a video game or watches a movie, sound is up to 25/30 and carrying upstairs into all the rooms. There’s no escaping it.

Every time I text or yell to turn it down. For the past six years since we moved into this house.

Today I lost my shit because I’m tired of being the noise manager and walked up to him, grabbed the remote out of his hand and turned it down, silently, no words. I turned around and went back upstairs.

Why do they do this?
