Magickal Mediumship Interpretation

I've been practising witchcraft for a while now, mainly spellwork, with some tarot and ancestor work. Recently I've been trying to expand my practice by exploring mediumship and spirit communication.

I'm currently reading Magickal Mediumship by Danielle Dionne, and one of the exercises involves connecting with what she calls the blood soul (ancestors), bone soul (middle self), and star soul (higher self). I completed the exercise and received a series of symbols/messages. I have my own interpretations, but I'm interested in hearing how other practitioners might read them, especially from a witchcraft, mediumship, or spirit-work perspective.

Blood Soul / Ancestors

I received the phrase "see the light" along with an image of a circle in the distance.

My interpretation was that this could be similar to "seeing the light at the end of the tunnel" and that positive movement is on the horizon. I recently performed a road opener working, so I wondered whether my ancestors were indicating that the work is beginning to bear fruit.

Bone Soul / Middle Self

The only thing I received was the image/word "boxes".

I interpreted this as a message to stop trying to force myself into predefined categories or routines. I've been struggling with expectations around productivity and daily structure due to chronic illness, so it felt like a reminder not to compare my path to everyone else's.

Star Soul / Higher Self

I was shown a door repeatedly opening and closing, along with some hills.

My first thought was that the door related to liminality or thresholds, although the repeated opening and closing made me wonder whether it could be pointing towards changing spiritual focus, opportunities, or timing.

The hills felt easier to interpret. I took them as representing perspective, elevation, or the ability to see the bigger picture.

For those who practise mediumship, spirit work, ancestor work, hedge-riding, journeying, or other forms of witchcraft, how would you interpret these symbols? Do any traditional associations come to mind that I may be overlooking?
