iPhone users definitely have it easier for this...

If someone can figure out a simplier way for Androids please post. This is still a work in progress...

This works when the phone is unlocked and awake, so there are steps for you to do to ensure those are true. I made both these true for being at home overnight when charging. Not sure yet about daytime if the phone locks...but that is a security issue.

- Subaru app, sign in and check "Remember Me"

- Set up phone to be unlocked all the time when at home using Extend Unlock:

• Open your phone's Settings app.

• Go to Security & privacy, then tap More security & privacy.

• Tap Extend Unlock and enter your PIN, pattern, or password.

• Select Trusted places and add your home address using the map.

- Keep your screen on all the time while charging (this is good for overnight) by unlocking Developer Options

• Go to Settings, About Phone, Software Information

• Tap Build Number 7 times, then turn on the Stay Awake toggle.

- Use Samsung Modes and Routines.

• Download Good Lock from the Playstore, l it has the enhanced Routines+ you will need. Open it and then click on Routines+ to download it.

• You can download this routine I made with a touch macro or make your own Routine and Touch Macro https://quickshare.samsungcloud.com/aScAX5EERhmg

• Select Modes and Routines to open or import the file directly onto your phone.

• Confirm and save the routine to your device.

Those of you that use a Tesla wall connector to charge at home, how did you set it up to show the cost of charging? I added a plan and the rate but it doesn't show and I can't figure it out why not.

I don't was to disable DCM, because I want to have access to some of the Subaru Connect fuctions. Reading about iPhone users able to use a short cut function to automate a car lock and stop the sawtooth drain I looked around for a similar Android possibility.

I found the Automate app and made a flow to do the same thing for Androids. It worked to lock it, so now I am testing the loop feature to do it every 2 hours and 55 minutes. If it works, I'll see how to share it with others.

Drove into work and then installed the Ancel BM200, I'll have ro redo the red side later so I can close the cap. Here is the first reading before I went in to work.

No more 11pm runs to the Tesla Supercharger to get their cheapest .25cent rate!

And...I can charge in the driveway with the garage door shut (our garage is full of things). 🙂

We have always had these gaps in the corners of our garage door. With the small diameter of the charging cord I am able to lay it there with the cord straight (no kinks or bends) and I can shut the garage door. It does not close on it. I can gentle pull it and it slides nicely without any resistance. 👍

Just got the Tesla Wall Connector installed for our Trailseeker. I was down to 11% and it initially showed 5.5 hours to 80% charge. Should the 10.40 kW/ 10.85 kW be higher for the 60 amp breaker or am I good?

So after watching review videos on EVSEs I decided on the Tesla Wall Connector and will have it hardwired using a 60 amp breaker. Hopefully tonight will be the last time I have to charge my Trailseeker at a local Supercharger, but 20% to 80% in 25 minutes is nice.

Ugh, so I didn't notice this when I bought it, but these two windows have the etching on the outside. Our other Subarus have them only on the inside and are not noticable.
