Hey folks!

My fiancée has recently moved to Burlington and the apartment that she is moving into is kind of a perfect small DIY space for singer-songwriter stuff. I'm contemplating when I get moved out and settled to attempt to host some shows there either later this year or next year. I was wondering if anyone has ran a small (I mean tiny) DIY space out of rental before? If so:

How did you broach your landlord/tenant neighbors about the subject?

How did you approach neighbors in adjacent buildings about it?
Are there any local ordinances or laws I should be aware of?

This would be outside (essentially out of my garage), anybody else done anything like this?
Any other recommendations or thoughts?
