Budget is around ₹80k–₹85k and I’m buying in India.

Main use cases are coding/programming, multitasking with lots of tabs/apps, media consumption, and some gaming. Performance and cooling matter more to me than portability, so I’m fine with a slightly heavier laptop if it has better thermals and long-term reliability.

I’d prefer a 15–16 inch display and upgradeable RAM/storage would be nice.

Right now I’m mainly considering:

• ASUS Vivobook 16X
• Lenovo LOQ 2024 (RTX 3050 variant)

I’m upgrading from a 2020 Dell Inspiron with an i5 10th gen and 8GB RAM, so this will be a pretty major jump for me.

Would appreciate recommendations or opinions from people who’ve used either of these laptops.
