Do I move in?? Mice and silverfish
just getting ready to move into a new rental property (end terrace house on a hill, with a 20ft drop on my side leading to an abandoned building site- lots of weeds/fairly overgrown).
I took out the last tenants beds and found a headboard that looked like it had been chewed by a pet in the middle. Removed the bed and found a cluster of dry droppings (looked like mice).
saw the same in the another bedroom too, but not in the third.
droppings are really dry, and the house has been empty for a month or so. The last tenants had a cat so this freaked me out even more - shouldn’t there be no droppings?
to make matters worse I laid down like 20 traps, a few of them old glue ones too, and caught 3 to 4 silverfish in each room. (after a week, no fresh droppings though)
Fiest time I’ve ever seen them - I thought they were droppings too!
so what do I do?? the droppings are dry but still, is that a blatant red flag? and are the silverfish a hard no too????
