To Vac or not to Vac

So I just scraped the front glass of my orange new caridina tank with the intention of sucking out the algae. However, my shrimp are treating it like an all you can eat buffet.

Do I just leave it? I feel like I'm stealing food from a baby at this point.

3D Printed Shrimp Hide Design Question

I created this simple shrimp hide. Or I should say I recreated it, I originally designed it in Blender, then recreated it in Fusion once I had a better idea how fusion worked. Managed to keep the same shape and reduce print time by 20% and filiment use by 20% as well. The above being the end printed result with a Fuzzy skin modifier.

Created a profile, used a sweep then used the hole modifier to place the holes.

My question is, my last step seems very time consuming and inefficient. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out a better way, using project to place dots but that mostly just landed most marks on the top half. Is There a better way to "place" objects to cut out the holes?

I know fusion doesn't really do random things. I would understand how to do this if it was the same pattern overall. How I did it "works" it results in a lot of modifiers.

Orange Rili Photos (excited)

Just wanted to share my Orange Rilis. I ended up with 10 females when I frst got them, so had to special order a few lucky males.

Now, I'm unsure how many babies there are.

The tank was a 40 gallon breeder I knocked about 5 inches off of the top and rebuilt it. So roughly 29 gallons now.
