I am on path to finish a Phd in engineering, I have lived in saudi continuously for almost 20 years ( 28 years now) and actually checked that I hit the 23 points mark on the citizenship point based system. The question is, are there any success stories? or is meeting the minimum points not enough to grant you the citizenship?

My family lived there, with my dad being in the kingdom since 18 years old ( he is 68 now) and is now retired, but doesnt really have an option but to go back to Yemen which is very hard on him and my mom to accept, hence am thinking of moving back to saudi, either as normal employment, or perhaps pursue the citizenship to be able to to sponsor them.
