Hi everyone, I've tried a half-dozen "language exchange" apps and have nearly given up after many disappointments. I am not looking for a date, I want someone with shared interests with whom I can practice a language on a regular basis naturally.
I am male, 28, a native speaker of English who lives permanently in Germany and speaks fluent German. I have an intermediate level in both French and Russian and good comprehension but lack speaking and conversation practice. I am also gay, in case that's a problem for you, and married, so not looking for any dates.
My interests: History, reading, travelling, strategy games (Civilization, Crusader Kings, etc.), PlayStation, and current politics. I like learning about the culture of a country as much as its language, and I can bring a lot of knowledge about the cultural differences between different Anglophone countries.
