Installed a Rival trigger on my MC9 and of course nothing is simple or interchangeable on these guns. I ground down the trigger shoe to get it to clear the polymer frame. Reinstalled the slide and now it wont move, trigger wont move. What did I do wrong? I double checked that the takedown pin is in the correct orientation and the trigger moved just fine without the slide on the frame. The trigger is not getting caught on the polymer frame.

Edit: managed to get the slide to move after slamming it. Slide wont go on the frame unless you force it on, slide wont move if you try to cycle it with the trigger pulled to the rear when you try to test the reset.
