God it's hot!!

Any tips, tricks or advice on how to cope with the heat...i'm currently 26 weeks pregnant with my second child. My first was born 13 years ago and in June so i wasn't really pregnant during summer. But this time I'm not due till August and it's only May and I'm struggling! So far I have bought a maxi dress for comfort, I have a big fan in my living room which is on rotate most of the day with windows open and curtains closed. I'm also having ice in all my drinks... Anything else I can do to cool me down!

Me (32f) and my bf (37m) have a French bulldog. He's extremely clingy lately and we're worried he can obviously sense something. He's not the smartest dog ever but he likes to be around us otherwise he gets anxious and upset. We don't have a massive flat (2 bedrooms). One bedroom is ours, one is my son's (13m) and downstairs we only have a kitchen/diner type room and the living room and a balcony. I'm currently 24 weeks and my dog can clearly sense something. He keeps sniffing my belly and will occasionally paw it. He tries to lie on me but baby tends to be moving and kicking alot which he doesn't quite understand but he moves out the way. I'm worried when baby comes that the dog is going to get jelous or maybe even difficult. I don't want to have to get rid of him he's been with me for 4 years and hes helped me through some really dark times before my bf showed up. He doesn't sleep with us at night. I do occasionally allow him upstairs if I'm watching TV but he has to go downstairs before I go to sleep as his house training isn't the best (he was originally a rescue and had issues when I got him).

Sorry for the ramble I'm just really worried that he's not going to be safe around baby and I may have to choose to get rid of him. He has already been neuteured and has no health problems. Any advice on helping with the transition of a small baby arriving would be great
