Feedback on push up form and question about rotator cuff

Hello, I would like some feedback.

When I do push ups at a higher intensity than in the video (10+), the DOMS the next day are mostly in my front delt where the delt meets the chest, sort of on the part of the bone that faces the chest; less DOMS in pecs and triceps which makes me think my shoulders are working overtime.

I take note not to flare elbows and not shrug. So I'm a bit confused as to why I have this soreness in this area. I sleep pretty well and maybe could eat more protein but I don't think those are responsible for localised pain. Should I do some rotator cuff exercises with the band or improve my form?
