Thank you all for answering my question on joint Bank accounts . I think based on this answer that this is the way I should move. But. Now I have a follow up question on how to make it happen

My family supplies us with a large % of our income. They give most of the money into a joint account and some into my separate account. They want it setup like that. Now if we don’t have separate accounts all the money will stop. And separate does not mean secretly transferring money too the joint

I can not make up the money that my family gives us. And the money helps us cover what some people consider basic living expenses such as housing and auto . So how would Dave handle this.
