Has anyone been facing lag while playing online friendlies on FC26?

My friend(in the US) and I usually play online friendlies and a couple of months back the connectivity seemed fine. But nowadays whenever we play, there is a ping of at least 270-300 for the non host side.

We tried switching the hosts and still faced the same issue. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!
