Planted this peony late in the season last year after it sat in a pot from Home Depot for months (long story, wasn’t the original plan!) and the leaves all got sad and it never flowered. But I just pushed back the mulch and found these lil red spikes pushing through and my god I think it might actually have survived! (I’m in zone 3b so we still had snow as of two weeks ago). I bow before you all and request any tips and tricks for a beginner Peony mama that might make this lil guy a success!
Ps should I cut away the dried dead stalks?
