Car title changed without my signature… or knowledge…
Pretty much what it is in the headline… how could this have possibly happened without my signature at the very least, but esp not even my knowledge?
Backstory… My ex is keeping our previously shared vehicle (because he was too lazy to get his license for 14 years and I’m the idiot for staying) which is what we agreed upon verbally many times but we had an agreement that he would contact me when he got his license back because the title is in MY name. He got his license back (finally) and I realized he’d started blocking me everywhere on social and text over the last week or so. I’ve been trying to get in touch with him for weeks and finally got an email today after I had to involve family members in attempting to contact him that said he’d gotten it changed ‘legally’ but I wasn’t involved in any of it and the car was in my name.
