new dynamic vram is here for AMD, does it work for you?

AMD portable to launch with dynamic vram was added in the latest update from 2 days before
https://github.com/Comfy-Org/ComfyUI/releases/tag/v0.21.0

>Add script in AMD portable to launch with dynamic vram. by u/comfyanonymous in #13667

does this work for anyone? getting messed up images and a "frozen" computer from it starting a fresh install of portable version with updated dependencies via

.\python_embeded\python.exe -s ComfyUI\main.py --enable-dynamic-vram

then loading your favourite image-model and after 1st gen change a word in the prompt. first spits out messed up images and then freezes the whole computer
win 10, 32gb ram, RX9070, latest driversas for videos i also get ruined images, looks a bit like when the old satellite TV had a malaligned saucer

if starting - as normal on amd - with

--disable-smart-memory

things work but memory does get outsourced to pagefile which results in a video that should take 1 to 3 minutes (like it does with NVIDIA) taking 45 minutes
