Introducing Fires of the Realm — A Fantasy Ambience World Built Around Fireplaces and Refuges

Hi everyone,
I recently created a Reddit account for my fantasy ambience project, Fires of the Realm, and this community felt like a natural place to introduce it.

The idea behind the project is simple: creating peaceful fantasy locations that feel like places you could actually step into and spend the evening.

A moonlit fire beside the sea, a quiet wizard study during a rainstorm, a dwarven forge glowing deep underground, an elven refuge overlooking water, or a cozy hearth tucked away from the outside world.

I’m especially interested in the worldbuilding side of these scenes — not just making a pretty fireplace, but asking questions like:

Where is this place?
Who would live here?
What is outside the window?
Why does this fire feel like shelter?
What kind of world exists beyond the room?

My focus is on calm, atmospheric fantasy spaces rather than action or battle scenes. More refuge, mystery, warmth, and escape.

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s maps, lore, art, writing, and worldbuilding ideas. I’m also excited to learn from the community and share some of the fantasy places I’m building along the way.
