My tub has literal pores and now they are clogged with papaya soap and toilet cleaner chemical burns. SOS. 💀

My tub has literal pores and now they are clogged with papaya soap and toilet cleaner chemical burns. SOS. 💀

LOL lesson learned the hard way. Do NOT use papaya bar soap to wash your body, and definitely do NOT use toilet bowl cleaner on your bathtub (even though it looks immaculately clean for like, five seconds).
Right now, I am dealing with a two-part biological and chemical warfare disaster in my bathroom:
The Papaya Paste: Caked-on papaya soap scum that feels absolute cemented to the surface.
The Chemical Streaks: Ugly, etched-looking streaks left behind from my last toilet bowl cleaner experiment.
Here is the kicker: my bathtub does not have a smooth, forgiving acrylic finish. It has that textured, bumpy, open-pore situation going on. Every single little pore is currently holding onto this orange soap for dear life, and the toilet cleaner streaks are deeply embedded.
Help a chaotic cleaner out! What products, DIY potions, or industrial-grade scrubbing methods actually work for a textured tub without melting it completely into the floor?
Send help (and heavy duty scrubbing tips). 🙏

Manager is micromanaging me for protecting my hands from sani-bucket chemicals. Need advice.

I don’t know why my F&B manager always singles me out, but I am at my breaking point with the constant passive-aggression and micromanagement.
Lately, their obsession is targeting me for wearing black safety gloves on the floor. I only put them on when I am wiping down and busting tables with harsh chemicals. The first time they complained about it, I explained my reasoning: at my other serving job, I had a severe chemical reaction from raw-handling the sani bucket. It took a full month for my skin to clear up, and it was incredibly painful. I am literally just trying to protect my health.
Every single interaction with this manager is dripping with hostility. I do my best to stay professional, keep my distance, and avoid engaging, but it is taking a massive toll on my mental health. I desperately need to keep this job in this economy, so losing my cool isn't an option.
Has anyone else dealt with a manager who power-trips over basic health and safety measures? How do you handle a toxic manager when quitting isn't an option?
