Been on Etsy for almost 2 years. And for the first time yesterday I got an email regarding a sale with the subject line "Processing Etsy Order from [buyer username]".
And the text basically said not to ship the item yet until the payment actually processes, which usually happens within a few days.
I thought it odd as that had never happened, but within a few hours the payment processed and didn't think much more of it. But then today I got the same email for another sale, and this time a few hours later Etsy emailed to say they'd cancelled the order because the payment didn't process.
Just started seeming odd that I'd never had anything like that and now two within 24 hours, one that failed. So I'm wondering whether this is something that happens to others occasionally and getting two so close for the first time is just a big coincidence. Or is it possible something weird is going on?
