So recently I have come into some financial problems and returned a car part I bought but never opened (item mint condition, original seals, perfect). The seller agreed but due to international return (the item just gets taken to hub). he doesnt recieve the item and it just goes to ebay for their inspection.
It has sat in their hub for 8 days. Ebay themselves through return page guaranteed a return confirmation by the 29th. well its the 29th (ebay is set to my local time so its not a time zoning issue) and i have recieved 0 updates in 8 days and agents were useless. 2 said they were collecting info for "2 minutes", at 10 minutes i asked if they were still there. which they instead responded to by leaving the chat with no further correspondence. couldnt even update or tell me status. just kept looping in circles with their non english speaking copy paste sheet they use. most i could get after 3 agents and 2 hours of useless back and forth was them escalating it to higher ups. however got no email confirmation of this escalation like they said, they said 24-48 hours which is bs as standard service shouldve been done today. pathetic gronks
literally need this refund to afford rent within 2 weeks. but the fact is they ensured a confirmation by this date, the item is mint with seller approval so no reason for denial.
used ebay for years, but support is useless.
