Battery issues & Oura sending out refurbished replacement rings with scratches on them
Title says it all but seriously wtf Oura?? I purchased my first ring in December of 2024, by September of 2025 my battery had crapped out & was only lasting 2 days so I reached out to support & was sent a brand new replacement ring- it came fresh out of the box. That’s great but it’s now may of 2026 & my replacement ring is once again dying within 2 days. I charge it at night when I’m showering just as Oura recommends & by morning I’ll already have an alert of low battery only 21 hours remaining etc. I reached out to support again & they sent me a new ring. Well I just got it & to my disappointment the ring they sent me looks to be refurbished & has scratches all over it. I’m shocked! It didn’t come in the Oura box, it just came in a small plastic zip lock bag. Has anyone else ran into this? Does anyone else have a smaller size ring (mine is a 5) & is also dealing with back to back battery issues? I’ve read other discussions online where people suggest smaller ring batteries won’t last due to the size, but if that’s truly the case then Oura should stop false advertising as lasting 5-8 days. I take very good care of my ring & I’m so shocked that Oura expects me to replace it with a ring that has more scratches on it than my current one.
